Banking sector is one of the fastest growing sectors in India. This sector has contributed a lot to the economic development and has brought new job opportunities for the people also. One such opportunity is to become a bank PO so it is very important to follow some banking tips and tricks for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) Bank PO Exam.
A PO in the bank is the first level for bank officers. The POs have one or two years probation period during which they are given exposure to various important functions of the bank such as Loans & Advances, Foreign exchange, Credit Rating, Treasury, Risk Management, IT, Marketing etc. The mode of employment on this post is mainly through the process of examination.
The IBPS(Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) is conducting the exams of Bank PO and clerks. There are 20 banks in India which comes under the IBPS. So we have to follow the guidelines prepared by the IBPS.
IBPS Bank PO Exam is divided in two parts:-

The reasoning section tests your mental skill and aptitude in attempting the questions and observing power also. This section also judges your decision making ability. It requires your concentration. You need to make a mind map for each question and ultimately you will reach to your answer. So, maximum practice is required to deal with various figure problems and mirror images.
3.) Banking Tips and Tricks for Quantitative Ability:-
The quantitative section checks the mathematical ability of the candidates. For this section, you should study and practice various mathematical books, tricks and shortcuts. Mathematical tricks help to save your time and also increase your speed in exam. You should practice for Quantitative ability for the accuracy. There is a negative marking provision i.e. 0.25 negative marks for each wrong question. So answer only those questions to which you are confident. This is the highly scoring section. It is very vast section. You should keep yourself up to date with world around. This section judges your Computer Knowledge. Questions include various terms and abbreviations related to computer knowledge. You need to focus on computer fundamentals. Cover each and every topic in the syllabus. You need to have very basic computer knowledge.

Generally, the exam is of 135 minutes in which 225 questions have to be solved. It means that the candidate has only 36 seconds in hand for each question. In this type of exam, the maximum accuracy attained in the solution of the questions helps the candidate to make his/her chances of success in the examination.
Good Knowledge on latest Current Affairs:-
The descriptive part of the test consists of such question in which the candidates are required to write long answers on current issues. Those candidates who are selected in the written test are then called for Group Discussion. After group discussion the candidates are called for personal interview.
Some Important Tips:-
To prepare for any exam, the candidates need to work hard. The candidates also need to be updated in the syllabus of the IBPS bank PO exam they are appearing into. The candidate must keep all the required study material and specially, the candidate also need for general awareness for the exam.
